Glue dots

Glue dots are small double-sided adhesive pads usually packaged in dispenser rolls that allow you to attach your wick tabs to the bottom of containers you don't have (or don't want to use) a glue gun. Glue dots are absolutely not essential but can be very convenient.

That's about all there is to say about glue dots

They are extremely convenient to secure a wick to the bottom of a container: do as I do, thread the wick through a short section of brass tube, stick one side of the glue dot to the wick sustainer tab, remove the film that protects the other side of the glue dot and, using the brass tube, press the wick sustainer tab against the bottom of the container (the brass tube allows you to exert uniform pressure on the whole perimeter of the wick tab, which ensures a good adhesion).
