I need to "dip" several layers of candles in one wax to coat and meld the layers together, does pure 100% paraffin wax dry clear so as to not change the initial color of the original wax candles I want to dip into it?

Straight paraffin should do the trick, as long as you don't dip your candles multiple times... I've heard, a few years ago, of a special "clear dip" wax but for the life of me, I just can't find it back anywhere
